Using My Journey to Inspire Hope
"My life is basically over." These are the words my mom whispered a few days after a severe stroke left her paralyzed on her dominant side. The years to come would be a journey of discovering how poorly the world had been built to accommodate people in wheelchairs.

Having recently found a level of recovery and stability after years of debilitating chronic illness, I decided to finally chase my lifelong dream of traveling full-time in an RV. I had done the research before, but never through the lens of having limited abilities. After my experience with my mom, I knew I couldn't fall into the rut of "being sick," I had to find a way to live again.

Through my journey, my mission is to build a resource for people to find information on traveling with disabilities of all sorts. I'm building a database of the places I visit, rating their accessibility and inclusivity. I'm documenting my challenges and the solutions to overcome them, with the goal of building a community where disabled travelers can find support and resources to inspire everyone follow their dreams.
